Lake City Udaipur.
Udaipur is a terrific, romantic city famous for its lakes, palaces, and most of all (if you ask any local) for being the place where James Bonds Octopussy was filmed. There is contour to the land, magnificent architecture, and a more relaxed atmosphere than many of the cities we visited. Because of the recent years of drought the lakes are mostly dried up, the water replaced by grazing farm animals. It is beautiful nevertheless, and easy to imagine what makes the city so stunning
